Finding
the words to express your love and commitment is exciting - and sometimes
intimidating. You may share deep spiritual feelings that you wish to express
during your ceremony. You may want special readings that are significant
to the two of you. Or you may choose to let your sense of humor and the fun you
share dominate the ceremony.
We can help you create a wedding that incorporates the symbolism and rituals
that are meaningful to you, or is just plain fun.
Your wedding ceremony may include some or all
of the following:
-Readings of poetry or appropriate
texts
-Exchange of rings
-Exchange of vows
-Candle-lighting ceremony
-Sharing of wine and cake
-Rose ceremony
-Blessing of the union
If you have children from a previous marriage, you may want to consider ways to
include the children in the ceremony, whether as a member of the wedding party
or by having a "blending of the families" ceremony.
You may also wish to incorporate ethnic or cultural traditions - either to
honor your family's history or because they speak to you in some way. These
traditions range from the serious to the lighthearted. See our page on

For the truly creative-minded, theme
weddings are fun, entertaining, and memorable. Historical themes such as
Victorian, Shakespearean, and Gothic are popular; so are more contemporary
themes like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Elvis, Harry Potter, or Dr. Seuss.
Unusual locations (roller coasters, rodeos, skydiving, museums, street fairs)
can add to the ambience. When it comes to writing the vows for a theme
wedding, you can really let your imagination run wild - or let us write
something unique and fun for you.
If you are already married, we will
be happy to officiate over your renewal of vows. Couples choose to renew
their vows for a variety of reasons. Perhaps your first ceremony
was a civil ceremony that left you feeling unsatisfied. Perhaps you've
been married for a while and you feel the need to reiterate and reinvigorate
your mutual love for one another. Whatever the reason, Weddings Out
